S CARD DONGLE FOR SMART CLIP

S-Card dongle is a Smart-Clip sub-device providing high level protection in the process of operation and updates. Connects to PC via USB port. Compatible with Win98/ME/2000/XP.

IdeaS-Card dongle is a portable USB key for:

Smart-Clip updates;
SmartMoto software operations;
Access to flash files database.
Use of S-Card dongle frees Smart-Clip users from SmartMoto licensing process. From now on, Smart-Clip with S-Card dongle can be used on any PC and will not be bound to the computer hardware.

NOTE:
No future version of Smart-Clip or SmartMoto will be usable without S-Card dongle connected. Smart-Clip registered with the USB key will provide an access to the new level of flash files database at portal. User Guide

1. To read mobile version files(*.bin).it can read the complete mobile FLASH-ROM file with its FLASH function, and will save as .bin file.

2. To write .bin and .hex files.

3. It can flash files into mobiles by LPT port, no necessary to save files first into instrument; it can save about 10mins wait the process to finish.

4. To program mobile online: it can change all files in FLASH ROM, upgrade version and functions; it can reactive Power-Off-mobile caused by software with Logic-Pen on line. In one word, PEMASTER2.10 can change and program Moto serials FLASH-ROM online, even it?s empty; so it can repair most software bugs.

S-Card dongle is a portable USB key for:

Part of phone firmware gets reflashed. At this time popup window appears at SmartMoto interface. Please follow the instructions provided therein:
Disconnect cable from the phone;
Remove and insert phone?s battery;
Press "Power on" key on the phone;
Connect cable to the phone;
The handset should restart in boot mode.
If the option "Unlock automatically" was marked ? the handset becomes unlocked. If the option was not selected then:
The phone can be unlocked by logging to the bookmark "Unlock", selecting the appropriate model and simply pressing "Unlock via TestPoint";
The phone can be repaired by logging to the bookmark "Repair", selecting an appropriate model and pressing "Repair PDS";
The phone can be flashed by logging to the bookmark flash and performing a "Flash" procedure.

The phone has to be flashed with an appropriate firmware.
After flash is completed, disconnect the handset

Smart-Clip Support, Troubleshooting
How to force P2K phone to enter boot mode?With P2K phones with mini USB socket you should power the phone off, simultaneoudsly press * and #, then power the phone ON. The phone should enter boot mode.

For oher P2K phones you should use special cable to force boot mode (it has 13th and 14th pins shorted). Specifically - remove battery, connect cable, insert battery, power the phone ON.

Problems with ActiveX client:If you have problems running unsigned ActiveX, please open Explorer's menu Tools > Internet Options > Security > Custom Level and change "Download unsigned ActiveX controls" to "Prompt"

If you encounter problems during update make sure that:Firewall on your computer (or your LAN) is configured properly or disabled
You have reliable internet connection
LPT port settings are set to EPP in BIOS
Your LPT cable works properly
You use a stable power supply with your clip (use power adapter)
Your IE version is not lower than v5.0
If you run update under WinXP, log in as Administrator or any other account with administrative rights.
Your S-Card dongle is properly connected to PC USB port.
If you have problems updating under WinXP please download PortTalk file, unzip it and run install.bat. After that reboot your computer.

Description of what had happened and a current status of clip
If you encounter unlock problems make sure that:First of all, make sure the phone model you are trying to unlock is in the list of supported models. If it is, you need to make sure the phone you are unlocking is charged to its full battery capacity and that battery connection poles are clean. Make sure your cable connection is good too. Use power adapter for Smart-Clip while unlocking.

As soon as S-Card dongle and Smart-Clip are connected to PC, SmartMoto is ready to operate. There will be no additional S-Card interface implemented in SmartMoto software. The only parameter that distinguishes SM v2.0 from the previous versions ? the software will detect S-Card first, only then Smart-Clip serial will be found. All further unlocking/flashing procedures remain the same according to SmartMoto User?s Manual.

Ultimate Box is first standalone device powered by own OS (Ultimate OS) capable to execute any user code written in Pascal. This is unique solution so far in electronic devices market.

How does it works ?
